History

IEEE Systems, Man & Cybernetics Spanish Chapter was created on 22 October 2009 by Emilio Corchado. Initially the Chapter was made of a total of 73 members.

Every year members of the chapter meets in the annual meeting to share advances and activities performed within the framework of IEEE-SMC Spanish Chapter.

Is a Chapter tradition to hold the meeting during international conferences in order to give the highest visibility to the IEEE-SMC Spain activities

IEEE-SMC Spain Activities

We work continuosly to develop new activies to promote the capter and to approach the new achievements to society. Some of this activies are focused to children through robotic competitions and courses
